Outlook exe is a Lusha designed feature that provides Outlook users with the same access and benefits derived from the Community without requiring tedious and numerous authentication processes. That’s really all it is! Another simple and easy way for our loyal and awesome users to access our leading Community on a different platform.
In this article, we’ll be showing all you Microsoft Office365 users and Outlook for desktop users how to install and join the Lusha Community with Outlook exe.
Step 1: Approve the Lusha Community terms
Step 2: Connect with ‘Outlook for desktop’ and approve the file download
Step 3: After the file finishes downloading, run the Outlook exe
Step 4: Agree to EULA terms and conditions
Step 5: Choose install location and install Outlook exe
Step 6: Launch, or relaunch, Outlook
Step 7: Login again to your Lusha account with your email and password
Step 8: That’s it, you’re done!
💡 Note: If a user uninstalls Outlook exe from their device, they will be automatically removed from the Lusha Community and will stop receiving free credits.
Error Handling
In case you face issues downloading the exe file, you can switch back to connect using our web SSO (oAuth web process), Gmail/Outlook, depending on your email provider.
In case there is a technical issue to collect the mailbox data, you will get an indication of the reason for the issue. For example: using a different email ID than the one you have registered to Lusha with, missing contacts data, etc.

Q: Do I have to have Outlook on my PC?
A: Yes, we just replace our outlook exe with the existing one. In case you don't have Outlook installed on your windows, then use the web SSO options to connect and join the community.
Q: Can I use Outlook for MAC?
A: The current version supports Outlook installation for Windows only.
Q: Can I use 2 different devices (PC’s) to connect with Outlook for desktop?
A: No. Only one device is applicable.
Q: Do I have to be a Lusha user to join?
A: Yes. Otherwise, you will fail the authentication process. You cannot sign up for Lusha through the Outlook installation process. Register to Lusha and then join Lusha's community.
Q: What information does Lusha collect from my Outlook email account?
A: The information that Lusha collects is the same business information that can be found on a business card, including Full name, company name, job title, business phone number, and email address.
The majority of information that we collect from Lusha Community members confirms the data we already have in our database for professional purposes and acts as a system of validation and fraud protection.
Q: Will I get any indication that I’ve successfully connected my Outlook and joined the Lusha Community?
A: Yes. at the end of the installation and verification process, you will get a message that you’ve completed the process. In addition, once you return to the Lusha dashboard you get an indication of the credits you received.
