Step 2: Start Recording & Analyzing
Recording begins automatically once Conversations is activated for your meetings.
Post each conversation, receive an Analysis Email notification (typically within 2-5 minutes).
Access your Analysis Page for comprehensive meeting insights and actionable next steps.

Who can use Lusha Conversations?
Lusha Conversations is currently in beta and available at no charge to some Premium and Scale plans customers. After the beta period, it will be available across all plans as part of our paid offering, bringing AI-powered meeting intelligence to your entire sales workflow.
How do I start recording meetings?
Simply connect your calendar and enable auto-recording in settings. Once activated, meetings will be recorded automatically based on your configured preferences - no manual intervention required.
Why isn’t my meeting being recorded?
Follow these quick steps to diagnose the issue:
Verify calendar connection - Confirm your calendar is properly linked in Settings
Check auto-recording rules - Ensure the meeting matches your configured recording preferences
Confirm recording status - In your "Upcoming Meetings" dashboard, meetings with the toggle switched "on" will be automatically recorded
Still having issues? Review your recording rules in Settings > Recording Preferences to ensure they align with your meeting types.
Can I record meetings I didn’t schedule?
Yes. Enable the "Record meetings where I'm not the host" option in settings and Conversations will automatically join and record meetings you attend but didn't organize.
How does the system determine participant engagement?
Engagement levels are calculated primarily based on talk time duration and participation frequency throughout the meeting.
Can I customize AI-assigned meeting types?
Yes. Admins can edit and customize meeting types through either the Meeting Analysis Page or the main dashboard. This helps ensure accurate categorization for your specific business needs.
Can I record meetings without notifying participants?
No. For compliance and transparency, all participants are automatically notified when recording begins. A notification appears in the virtual meeting chat, and admins can customize the first part of this message in Bot Settings.
Meeting Recording & Transcription
How long are my recorded meetings stored?
Your recorded meetings are securely stored for the duration of your active Lusha account. All recordings are encrypted and protected.Can I record spontaneous or unscheduled meetings?
Absolutely!
1. Simply click "New Recording" in the top-right corner of your Conversations dashboard
2. Paste your virtual meeting link
3. The Lusha bot will automatically join and begin recording
4. Optionally rename the meeting for easier organization later
How do I stop a recording in progress?
If you're the meeting host, remove the Lusha bot from the meeting participant list, just like you would any other attendee.
If you're not the host, click “Stop Recording” from the Conversations banner at the top of your screen.

What data can I see on the Meeting Analysis page?

Team members on your Lusha account automatically have access to recordings based on their permissions. You can also share specific meetings directly using the unique meeting URL for instant access.
Can I share recordings with external clients or stakeholders?
Yes. Generate secure, time-limited sharing links for external viewers. External recipients see only the meeting summary and transcript - your internal insights, comments, and sensitive analysis remain completely private and protected.
How do I tag teammates for specific meeting moments?
Use @mentions in comments or notes to tag colleagues at any point in the recording. Tagged teammates receive an email notification with a direct link that jumps to that exact moment in the conversation.
Integration & Syncing
How do I sync recorded meetings with Salesforce?
Once your Salesforce integration is connected, recorded meetings automatically sync as Event activities in your CRM. Meeting summaries, key insights, and action items are organized in designated fields within the event description for easy access and follow-up.
Can I integrate with CRM platforms other than Salesforce?
Salesforce is our current supported CRM integration. We're actively developing additional CRM connectors - stay tuned for updates on HubSpot, Pipedrive, and other popular platforms.Will changes made in Salesforce sync back to Lusha Conversations?
Currently, our integration is one-way only - data flows from Lusha Conversations into Salesforce. Updates made directly in Salesforce will not reflect back in your Conversations dashboard.

Yes. Administrators have full control over auto-recording preferences and can configure settings to:

Exclude specific meeting types (internal meetings, recurring sessions, etc.)
Skip meetings where you're not the host

How can I manage permissions for accessing recorded meetings?
Currently, all users within your account have access to view recorded meetings and their analysis. Granular permission controls are not yet available but are planned for future releases.

Can I delete or export meeting recordings?
Yes. Data management is fully under your control:
Delete recordings: Admin users can permanently remove meetings from the platform
Export recordings: Right-click any recording on the analysis page and select "Save video"
Download transcripts: Access downloadable transcripts directly from the transcript tab
Can I restrict access to sensitive meeting recordings?
Currently, all recorded meetings are accessible to authorized team members within your account.

You have two options for customizing your viewing experience:
Quick Resize: Click the resize icon in the player toolbar to toggle between compact and full-screen views.

Navigate instantly to any speaker's contributions by clicking their name in either:

Can I mute a specific speaker while reviewing a meeting?
Yes. In the transcript view, locate the speaker's name and click the eye icon next to it:
Open eye icon: Speaker audio is enabled
Closed eye icon: Speaker audio is muted
Toggle between these states to skip specific participants' speaking segments during playback.
How do I find questions marked on the meeting timeline?
Questions are automatically identified and marked with question icons directly on the meeting timeline. Simply:
Hover over any question icon to preview the content
Click the icon to jump immediately to that moment in the conversation
This feature helps you quickly navigate to key discussion points and decision moments.
Troubleshooting
I’m not receiving meeting analysis emails - what should I do?
Confirm calendar connection - You should see upcoming meetings displayed in the top-right corner of your dashboard.
Check email folders - Analysis emails may land in your spam, promotions, or updates folder.
How do I re-enable Conversations if I disconnected it by mistake?
No worries! Follow these steps:
Reconnect calendar - Go to Settings > Personal and reconnect your calendar integration.
Check Gmail integration - If your calendar appears connected, visit Lusha's Integrations page and verify the Gmail integration is active (this powers your calendar connection).
Test the connection - Schedule a test meeting to confirm recording functionality is restored.
