Lusha’s Pricing System

How Lusha's credit system works — the four credit categories, API credit consumption rules, and answers to common pricing questions.

Lusha's credit system is built to give you control, flexibility, and maximum value. With one simple balance of credits, you can use every Lusha product the same way — whether through the platform, browser extension, AI Assistant, or API.

That means one credit type that covers all use cases, one balance that adapts to your workflow, and one price structure that ensures every credit makes an impact. In short, you only pay for what you actually need.

How does the credit system work?

Credits are consumed across four value-based categories, each representing a different layer of value in the revenue process.

1. Essential Prospecting

Verified contact and company information that powers your outreach.

2. Workflow Automations

Tools designed to streamline tasks, reduce manual work, and save time.

3. Sales Intelligence

Signals that improve timing, targeting, and outreach relevance.

4. Client Engagement

Tools that help you connect with prospects directly.

API explained

The Lusha API is built for RevOps, marketing, and sales teams that want to automate workflows, integrate Lusha data into existing systems, and scale outreach beyond the platform.

Credit consumption via API

Lusha's API credit usage is calculated based on two key components.

1. Data points revealed

Credits are consumed based on the type of data revealed:

Data Point Type

Credit Cost

Email

1 credit

Phone Number

5 credits

Company Info

1 credit

💡 Note: Each contact's data point is only charged once. If you've already revealed a contact's email or phone number, future requests will not incur additional charges for those same data points.

2. Number of API results returned

Request Type

Results Returned

Credit Cost

Single Request

Per result (1 contact/company)

1 credit per result

Bulk Request

Up to 25 results

1 credit per 1–25 results

A bulk request includes multiple contacts/companies (up to 100) per request.

Sales Intelligence (Signals)

Charged on a per-signal per contact or company basis: Growth Surge in Hiring — 1 credit per company | Growth in Headcount — 1 credit per company | Job Change — 1 credit per contact.

Caveats to keep in mind

  • Minimum of 1 credit per API request applies, even if no results or data points are returned.

  • Maximum of 100 contacts or companies per request.

  • Data points are only charged once per contact.

What you get with each credit

When you consume a data point or search for contacts/companies, you unlock a rich dataset of verified information. Contact data includes core identifiers, job title, seniority, departments, verified emails, phone numbers, location, and LinkedIn profile. Company data includes name, description, industry, size, revenue, location, funding rounds, SIC/NAICS codes, and technology stack.

FAQs

Are you charging for searches?
Searches throughout the platform are free. When using the API to search and extract datasets, we charge 1 credit per up to 25 results, in addition to data point costs.

Are you charging for company data?
Company data is free throughout the platform and plugin. Via API, we charge 1 credit per company's full data profile.

I've called the API with a request to enrich 50 companies — what will be the cost?
If 40 matches are found, cost = 42 credits (40 for companies + 2 for API Results).

I've sent an API request with 1 contact, and didn't receive any result — what will be the cost?
There's a minimum cost of 1 credit per API request, even if no results are found.

What happens to unused credits?
Monthly plans: credits roll over up to 2× your monthly limit. Annual plans: you get all credits upfront; unused credits reset at the end of the cycle.

Can I freeze my subscription?
Yes — you can freeze your account for 1 or 2 months, twice per year, with a 3-month gap between freezes. Admin access is required. Freezing doesn't cancel billing permanently.

Can I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel my plan anytime?
Yes. Upgrades happen instantly; downgrades and cancellations apply at the end of your billing cycle, and your credits remain valid through your current term.
