What Intent data shows you
The Intent filter consolidates all intent signals into a single view, scored and ranked so the most relevant accounts appear first. Each company is given a level of intent -Very Hot, Hot, or Warm - based on how many topics they're engaging with and at what intensity.
Intent scores are based on Bombora's Company Surge® data, which tracks research activity across a co-operative network of over 5,000 B2B websites. Lusha measures weekly changes in content consumption against each company's 12-week baseline, flagging accounts that are significantly increasing their research on topics relevant to your product.
How the scoring works
Companies are ranked using a topic-synergy scoring model that combines the number of related topics a company is researching with the signal strength of each topic. Key elements include the topic count (how many of your selected topics the company is engaging with), the level of intent (Very Hot, Hot, Warm), and the topic count trend, which shows whether intent is rising or falling week-over-week.
This approach reduces false signals and surfaces accounts that are showing consistent, meaningful research activity rather than one-off spikes.
What's changed recently
Reset intent topics: Admins can now reset intent topics directly from Settings → Intent, without contacting support. Resetting is available every 30 days from the date the last topic was added.

How many results can I see?
Self-service plans (Professional/Pro) can see up to 25 Intent results. Scale plans have full access and see results based on their selected filters and topics.
Who can use Intent?
All Lusha users can access the Intent filter. Full export capabilities (up to 10K companies) are exclusive to Scale users.
What is the topic count trend?
It tracks weekly changes in the number of topic hits for each company, so you can monitor whether their buying intent is increasing, flat, or declining.
Can I reset my intent topics?
Yes — Admins can reset topics from Settings → Intent once every 30 days from the date the last topic was added.
