This feature is currently being rolled out and will be fully implemented for all our users by May 28, 2025.

Overview

We've made some exciting updates to how Lists work!

Now it’s even easier to collaborate with your team and manage your saved contacts.

We’ve removed contact ownership, which means everyone on your account can now access contacts saved to Lists — even if they weren’t the ones who revealed them.

Plus, we’ve added new List Permissions, giving you control over who can view and edit each list.

What changed?

  • Contact Ownership is gone - Contacts saved to a list are now visible to your entire team. No more losing access to leads because someone else revealed them.

  • New List Permissions - Each list now has a permission setting that controls who can view or edit it.

When a user leaves the account, their Private Lists will automatically become Public, so your team does not lose access.

How to change permissions for an existing list

1. Go to Your Lists in the left sidebar.

2. Open any list.

3. Click the lock at the top right next to the list name:

4. A pop-up titled "List permissions" will appear.

5. Choose Private or Public from the dropdown.

Private (default): Only you and your account Admins can view and edit.

💡 Note: If someone gets a link to your list and tries to access it, they won’t be able to see it — your privacy always comes first.

Public: Everyone in your Lusha account can view and add to the list, but only you and Admins can edit or delete it.

How to choose permissions for new lists

Via the Navigation panel:

  1. Click on the + sign next to ‘Your Lists’

  1. Select list type (Contact/Company)

  2. Name your lists

  3. Select permissions (Private/public)

Via Prospecting:

1. Select the contacts you want to save after you have performed your search

2. Click on ‘List

3. Select ‘Create a new list’.

4. Name your list

5. Click ‘Save

💡 Note: All lists are private by default.
