How to join your company's Lusha account

How free-plan users can request to join their company's existing paid Lusha account, and how Admins manage those requests.

If your company already has a paid Lusha account, you can request to join it from your free plan. This gives you access to your team's shared credits, admin controls, and full Lusha setup.

πŸ’‘ Note: This flow is only available to free-plan users. If you're already on a paid plan, you can't use this to switch accounts.

How to request to join your company's account

  1. Log in to Lusha with your work email address.

  2. If a paid account exists for your email domain, a prompt will appear. Click Request to join to send a request to the account Admin.

  3. A confirmation pop-up confirms your request was sent. You can continue using your free account while you wait.

Not ready? Click Maybe later to dismiss the prompt. You can send a request later from Team Management β†’ Domain Accounts tab.

After you send a request

  • Requests are active for 7 days. If the Admin doesn't respond in time, you'll get a notification and can resend with one click.

  • Check your request status at any time from Team Management β†’ Domain Accounts tab.

  • You can only have one active request at a time. Cancel your current request before sending a new one.

πŸ’‘ Note: If your request is approved, you have 7 days to complete the join process. After that, the approval expires and you'll need to request again.

What happens when your request is resolved

Approved

A pop-up confirms your approval. Click through to join the paid account. Your old free account is deleted automatically.

Rejected

You'll receive a notification in the Notification Centre. You can browse other accounts from your domain or continue on your free plan.

Expired

A notification lets you know the request timed out. Click Request again to resend, or browse other accounts from the Domain Accounts tab.

For Admins: managing join requests

When someone from your domain requests to join, you'll receive an email with one-click Approve / Reject buttons, a Notification Centre alert, and a pop-up on your next login.

You can approve, reject, or revoke from your email, the Notification Centre, or the Invites / Requests tab in Team Management.

  • Approve β€” the user takes a pending seat and has 7 days to complete joining. Their free account closes automatically once they join.

  • Reject β€” the user stays on their free plan and is notified.

  • Revoke approval β€” you can revoke any time before the user completes the join.

πŸ’‘ Note: If you've reached your seat limit, Lusha will prompt you to manage seats or add new ones before you can approve.
