How to Delete Your Lusha Account

How to permanently delete your Lusha account, what happens to your data, and how account deletion differs from cancelling a subscription.

Deleting your Lusha account is a permanent action that removes your profile, saved data, and all associated information from our platform. This is different from cancelling a subscription — cancelling downgrades your account to the free plan, while deletion removes the account entirely.

⚠️ Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Export any data you want to keep before submitting a deletion request — your contact lists, saved searches, and credits cannot be recovered after deletion.

If you just want to stop being charged, cancelling your subscription is usually the right step. Only request deletion if you want your account and data fully removed.

Before you delete — things to do first

  • Export your lists — Go to your Contact Lists and export any contacts you want to keep as a CSV file.

  • Download your invoices — Go to Account & Settings → Payment & Subscription and save any billing receipts you may need.

  • Remove team members first (Admins) — If you manage a team account, remove all other members before requesting deletion to avoid disruption to their access.

  • Cancel your subscription — If you're on a paid plan, cancel it first to avoid being charged again before deletion is processed.

How to request account deletion

Lusha doesn't currently offer a self-serve account deletion option in the dashboard. To delete your account, contact Lusha Support:

  1. Open the chat icon in your Lusha dashboard, or email [email protected].

  2. State that you'd like your account permanently deleted and include your registered email address.

  3. Our team will verify your identity and process the request.

💡 Deletion requests are typically processed within 30 days. You'll receive a confirmation email once your account has been removed.

Requesting deletion for GDPR / data privacy reasons

If you are requesting deletion of your personal data under GDPR or another data privacy regulation, you can also use Lusha's Privacy Request form to submit a formal data subject request. This covers both removal of your personal information from Lusha's database and deletion of your account.
