If the Lusha Extension isn't showing contact data, won't open, or is behaving unexpectedly, you can usually fix it in a few minutes. This guide covers the most common extension issues and how to resolve each one.

Possible causes

  • You're not signed in to the extension

  • The extension needs to be updated

  • A browser conflict or cache issue is preventing the extension from loading

  • The page you're on isn't supported

  • Your account has run out of credits

Fix 1: Make sure you're signed in

  1. Click the Lusha icon in your browser toolbar.

  2. If you see a Sign In button, click it and enter your Lusha credentials.

  3. Once signed in, refresh the page and try again.

Fix 2: Update the extension

An outdated extension can cause display issues or data not loading.

  1. In Chrome, go to chrome://extensions in your address bar.

  2. Enable Developer mode (top-right toggle).

  3. Click Update to force-update all extensions.

  4. Refresh the page you're prospecting on.

In Edge, go to edge://extensions and follow the same steps.

Fix 3: Clear the extension cache

  1. Right-click the Lusha icon in your toolbar and click Manage extension.

  2. Toggle the extension off, wait 5 seconds, then toggle it back on.

  3. Refresh the page.

If that doesn't help:

  1. Go to chrome://settings/clearBrowserData.

  2. Select Cached images and files and Cookies and other site data.

  3. Click Clear data.

  4. Reopen your browser and try again.

Fix 4: Check if the page is supported

The Lusha Extension works on:

  • LinkedIn (profiles and search results)

  • Company websites

  • Gmail (via Lusha Everywhere)

  • Salesforce and HubSpot (via Lusha Everywhere)

The extension does not work on:

  • Local files

  • Chrome internal pages (e.g., chrome://settings)

  • Pages that block extensions via Content Security Policy

If the Lusha panel isn't opening on a specific page, try visiting the person's LinkedIn profile directly.

Fix 5: Check your credit balance

If you can open the extension but can't reveal contacts, you may have run out of credits.

  1. Go to dashboard.lusha.com β†’ Settings β†’ Usage.

  2. Check your credits remaining.

  3. If you're out of credits, wait for your next billing cycle or ask your Admin to adjust your allocation.

πŸ’‘ Note: Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. Your Admin can check team-wide usage under Analytics.

Fix 6: Reinstall the extension

If none of the above works, a clean reinstall usually resolves persistent issues.

  1. Right-click the Lusha icon β†’ Remove from Chrome.

  2. Go to the Chrome Web Store and search for Lusha.

  3. Click Add to Chrome and sign back in.

If the issue still isn't resolved after reinstalling, contact Lusha Support using the chat icon in your dashboard. Let us know your browser version and which page the issue occurs on.
