Overview

After setting up your Hubspot Integration, the Hubspot Identifier feature can help you determine which object types already exist in your CRM.

Use this feature to prevent the unnecessary use of credits and duplications when saving contacts and companies to your CRM.

This feature will allow users to see whether a contact or company already exists in Hubspot by showing the Hubspot icon next to the contact name.

💡 Note: Lusha currently has the capability of identifying duplicates within its own objects, such as contacts or companies. However, there are other applications and services available that are independent of Lusha but can be used alongside it. These external tools have the ability to detect and merge duplicates within other objects.

Moving forward, Lusha will introduce a new feature to enable duplicate detection within those other objects, effectively eliminating duplications within Hubspot.

Using the Hubspot indicator will use the company's Hubspot API quota, not Lusha's.

Hence, it doesn't use any of Lusha's credits.

How it works?

  1. start by toggling on the 'Existing Hubspot indicator' on the Hubspot management settings tab.

💡 You can also toggle on the Excluding Hubspot objects button.

When this toggle is on, when showing contacts in prospecting, if one of the selected contacts is already in your Hubspot, it won't reveal it, and won't charge you for credits.

For example, if you wish to bulk show 5000 contacts on prospecting, we will not show details of any existing contacts.

Turning on the 'Excluding Hubspot object' can save you time & credits. ⌛

2. Head to the Field mapping environment, navigate to the Hubspot identifier tab, and begin mapping the fields.

❗️Hubspot identifier logic works with these combinations for companies:

  1. Company name

    Or

  2. Domain name

❗️ Hubspot identifier logic works with these combinations for contacts:

  1. First name + Last name + Company name / domain
    Or

  2. Email address

    Or

  3. Phone

Duplicates are identified if they fall under one of these categories.

All set! An indication (Hubspot icon) will appear within the prospecting platform next to contacts who already exist in your CRM.
