Your login email address in Lusha is tied to your account identity. There are two common situations that require changes: updating your own login email, and reassigning admin access when the account admin leaves your company.
Changing your login email address
You cannot change your login email from within the Lusha dashboard. To update it, contact Lusha Support:
Open the chat icon in your Lusha dashboard or email [email protected].
Provide your current email address and the new email you'd like to use.
Confirm whether the new email is on the same company domain or a different one.
💡 Note: If your new email is on the same company domain (e.g., [email protected] → [email protected]), the support team can migrate your account. If it's a different domain — for example, because you've changed employers — you'll need to create a new account. Accounts cannot be transferred across different company domains.
What happens to your data when your email changes
Your contacts, lists, credits, and account history remain intact.
Active integrations (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) may need to be reconnected after the change.
Your role and permissions carry over automatically.
The password associated with your account remains unchanged after an email update, ensuring seamless access for the new email user.
Password Management After Email Updates
Changing the email address does not automatically reset or change the password. The existing password remains valid for the new email address. However, if the new email user prefers, they can reset the password using the steps outlined below.
Resetting Passwords
Go to the Lusha login page.
Click the “Forgot Password” link and enter your updated email address.
Check your email inbox for the Reset Password email and follow the instructions provided.
Return to the login page and sign in using your updated email address and new password.
Transferring admin access when an admin leaves
If the Admin on your Lusha account has left the company and you need admin rights reassigned:
Contact Lusha Support from a verified company email address.
Provide the following:
– The email address of the departing Admin
– The email address of the new Admin
– Proof of authorization (e.g., a letter or email from your organization confirming the change, or the last 4 digits of your payment method)Lusha Support will verify the request and transfer admin rights. This typically takes 1–2 business days.
⚠️ Important: For security reasons, Lusha cannot transfer admin access based on an unverified request. Always contact support from a company email address matching the account domain.
