When you record meetings with Lusha Conversations, your data is handled in line with enterprise security standards and applicable data protection regulations. This article explains how your meeting data is stored, protected, and shared — and what your responsibilities are around recording consent.

No AI training on your data

Lusha never uses your meeting recordings, transcripts, or stored conversation data to train AI models. Your calls are yours — they stay in your account and are not used to improve any AI system.

Security standards

Lusha Conversations is covered by Lusha's SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certifications. All personal information in the platform is handled with strict access controls and undergoes regular security audits.

What data is shared with third parties

Only a limited set of data is shared with authorised vendors — specifically names, email addresses, meeting summaries, and related metadata — under robust data processing agreements. Full recordings and transcripts are not shared with any third party.

GDPR compliance

Lusha Conversations is designed to meet GDPR and other leading data protection regulations. Data is handled lawfully, transparently, and securely.

Recording consent

You are responsible for ensuring that meeting participants are informed that the call is being recorded, in accordance with the laws that apply in your jurisdiction and theirs.

By default, Lusha notifies participants automatically when recording begins — a notification appears in the virtual meeting chat. Admins can customise the wording of this notification in Bot Settings.

💡 Note: Automatic notification does not replace your legal obligations. In some regions, explicit verbal or written consent is required before recording begins. Check with your legal team to confirm what applies in your markets.

How long recordings are stored

Your recorded meetings are stored for the duration of your active Lusha account. All recordings are encrypted and access is limited to authorised members of your account. Admin users can permanently delete recordings from the platform.

You're set up to record confidently and compliantly.
