You can update your credit card details or billing information (company name, address, VAT number) from your Lusha account settings at any time.
This includes company name, address, VAT/Tax ID, and payment card details.
💡 Note: You must be an Admin to update billing information.
How to update your credit card or billing details
Log in to your Lusha dashboard and click your name in the top-right corner.
Go to Account & Settings → Payment & Subscription.
Click Update card.
Update the card details and billing information, including company name, address, and VAT/Tax ID, that will appear on future invoices and receipts.
If you are not changing the payment card, re-enter the same card details for verification.
Click Update details to save.
💡 Note: If you want to update only the billing details (name, address) without changing the card, enter the same card number and update just the invoice fields.
To include VAT or Tax ID on your invoices, scroll to the Tax ID field in the Payment & Subscription section, enter the details, and save changes.
Adding a card for the first time
The process is the same as updating - go to Payment & Subscription and click Update card to add your first payment method.
Updating a VAT number on past invoices
Lusha Support can add a VAT number to invoices from the last 3 months. Previously issued invoices cannot otherwise be edited. Contact Support via the chat icon in your dashboard or email [email protected].
Note that changes to company name, billing address, or VAT/Tax ID cannot be made to invoices older than three months. For further assistance, contact Lusha support.
You're all set - your updated billing details will appear on all future invoices.
Common Issues and Troubleshooting
Why Can’t I Edit Past Invoices?
Invoices that have already been issued cannot be modified due to security protocols. Ensure your billing details are updated before the next billing cycle to avoid discrepancies.
How Do I Ensure Billing Emails Go to the Correct Address?
Set or confirm the billing email in your account’s billing settings. If the email on file matches your desired address, no further action is needed.
Can I Remove the Cardholder’s Name from Invoices?
No, the cardholder’s name will always appear on invoices due to Lusha’s invoicing format. However, you can include your company name alongside the cardholder’s name.
