The Gmail integration connects your Google account to Lusha. Once connected, you can send emails from your Lusha Engage sequences using your own Gmail address, and Lusha Conversations can sync with your Google Calendar to automatically record scheduled meetings.
💡 Note: Connecting Gmail serves two purposes at once — email sending via Engage sequences, and calendar sync for Conversations auto-recording. You only need to connect once.
Before you start
You need a Google Workspace or personal Gmail account.
You need at least User-level permissions in your Lusha account.
How to connect Gmail
Go to Integrations (/lusha-integrations) in the top navigation bar.
Under the Email Service category, click the Gmail card.
Click Connect.
A Google authorization window will open. Sign in to the Google account you want to connect.
Review the permissions Lusha is requesting and click Allow.
6. You'll return to the Integrations page and see Gmail listed as Connected.
Your Gmail address is now available as a sender in Engage → Sequences, and calendar sync is active for Conversations.
💡 Note: You can also connect Gmail directly from within Engage settings. Both paths create the same connection.
⚠️ Important: Connecting Gmail grants Lusha permission to send emails on your behalf and to read your calendar events. You can disconnect at any time from the Integrations page by clicking the Gmail card and selecting Disconnect.
You're all set! Your Gmail account is connected for both email sequences and meeting recording.
