Lusha works hard to provide accurate, up-to-date contact data — but occasionally a phone number or email address may turn out to be incorrect or no longer active. Here's what you can do.
Lusha's data quality commitment
Lusha continuously validates and refreshes its database to ensure the highest possible accuracy. However, because contact data changes over time (people switch jobs, update their email addresses, or change phone numbers), some details may become outdated between updates.
How to report incorrect data
If you reveal a contact and the details are incorrect, you can report it directly in the product:
Open the contact in Lusha Search or the Lusha Extension.
Click the thumbs down or Report icon next to the incorrect detail.
Select the reason (e.g. wrong number, bounced email, no longer at company).
Submit the report.
Reporting incorrect data helps Lusha improve its database and may be used to assess your credit refund request.
Credit refund policy
Credits are deducted at the point of reveal, not at the point of use. Because of this, Lusha does not automatically refund credits for data that turns out to be inaccurate. However, if you believe credits were deducted in error or for clearly invalid data, you can contact our support team to request a manual review.
💡 Note: Our support team reviews credit refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Submitting a data quality report through the product strengthens your request.
When contacting support, include:
Your account email address
The name of the contact whose data was incorrect
Which detail was wrong (phone number or email address)
The date the contact was revealed
Understanding Lusha's data coverage
Lusha's database is built from multiple verified sources and is refreshed continuously. Coverage and accuracy can vary by region, industry, and seniority level. For more detail on how data quality works, see Understanding Data Quality and Coverage.
You're all set — if you've encountered incorrect data, the quickest path is to report it in-product and reach out to support if you'd like a credit review.
